Leanne Gunns, Profit Hero
Leanne is an accountant.
But don’t worry, she is definitely not THAT kind of accountant.
She doesn’t wear grey suits, she’s more likely to be sporting a rather bright pair of dinosaur leggings.
She’s real, genuine and jargon-free! She’s not JUST an accountant though.
She has a glamping site, and this puts her in a unique position.
After all, how many accountants do you know who also spend their summer knee deep in laundry and cleaning tents?!?
Leanne is not just a business owner, she’s also a mum to a child with a rare disability called Transverse Myelitis, a cancer survivor, and charity volunteer.
Leanne has over ten years accountancy experience and as well as being co-director of Progress To Profit Ltd., she runs her own accountancy business (Excel Accountancy Norwich). So as well as the know-how of running a profitable and successful glamping site, she understands business from both sides of the desk.
Rachel Boleyn, Tech Angel
Rachel is a self-confessed nerd.
She has been using tech to make her life easier for as long as she can remember, to include during her 20 year career as a professional support administrator in the higher education sector.
Having juggled her business with her full-time job for a few years, Rachel finally took the plunge at the end of 2020 to go full-time self-employed. She now splits her time between her fused glass business (Boleyn Art), her Tech VA business (Virtual Tech Angel) and Progress To Profit.
As a single mum, running her own business has given her much needed flexibility to negotiate curved balls such as home schooling during the global pandemic!
As a Tech VA Rachel has supported several business owners to launch successfully, in particular focussing on setting up their marketing and sales funnel, automated email system or setting up the tech to sell their online courses and memberships.
Rachel has over twenty years experience of developing websites, setting up systems, automating processes and writing and delivering training courses supporting people to use tech.
